Free Social Enterprise Programme in Circular Innovation for Community Resilience Starting this Spring

Irish Rural Link is working together with Community Finance Ireland to offer a new free short-term Social Enterprise Programme focused on Reuse, Repair and Resource Recovery this Spring. We are looking for five Community Organisations (2 Participants from each) in the border counties to take part in this 10 week cross-border practical programme. The programme will include online learning, mentor support and study visits.

PPN Environmental Representatives Meet Up

This is a reminder of next weeks online meet up and what is going to covered. This evening will be an opportunity to meet Reps from other counties and to find common ground.

Content for the evening: You will divided by region so you are meeting your neighbours and discuss shared topics of interest. These could be something you would like to work on through the PPN such as a particular motion or policy in your Strategic Policy Committees, or could be relating to the PPN itself. Coming back to the main group you will pinpoint some of the issues that have the most interest and discuss next steps and shared resources. There will also have space to share any resources, research or policies that you have been working on yourselves.

Cork Community Art Link Launches Art Link Share

Art Link Share, is a new free-to-use online platform, that supports the sharing of skills, materials, and equipment among individuals, groups, and community organisations across Ireland.

The platform is built by its members who share their resources to help each other develop and produce creative projects and community projects, form peer-to-peer exchange networks, and collaborate locally while contributing to a growing national sharing infrastructure.

Designed to reduce barriers to participation and strengthen community connections, Art Link Share provides a practical way for communities to share what they have to minimise waste, and take what they need to maximise social and cultural impact.

Open to everyone, Art Link Share invites individuals and organisations to help build a shared community resource. For more information, visit here

Artlink Fort Dunree - Exhibitions Open Call

Artlink’s exhibition programme supports all visual art media and includes both emerging and established artists working locally, nationally, and internationally. Artlink seeks innovation from within its local context alongside distinctive and inspiring work from further afield. The programme is made up of invited projects, partnerships with other organisations, and proposals selected through open calls

Maoiniú - Funding

Funding applications invited under Local Enhancement Programme 2026

Donegal County Council and the Donegal Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) are inviting applications from Community groups in disadvantaged areas for capital funding under the Local Enhancement Programme 2026.

Small Grant: (€500-€1,000) to carry out minor repairs and improvements to community facilities or to support the purchase of equipment.

Large Grant: (€5,000-€10,000) to carry out necessary repairs and improvements to community facilities or to support the purchase of equipment.

Donegal Regional Festivals & Participative Events Funding - 2026: Phase 1 - Application

Donegal County Council is now taking applications for the 2026 round of festival funding from Fáilte Ireland.

The application period will close at 5pm on Friday 6th February 2026.

Erasmus+ funding initiative for Youth Centres 

The New European Bauhaus for Youth Centres (NEB-YC) is an initiative to further youth development and innovation. This open call is for Youth Centres and their youth workers in Ireland, Italy, Greece, Slovakia and Spain. Five Youth Centres per country will be selected to participate in the NEB-YC training programme.

The deadline for applications is 28th February 2026. The Youth Centre selection will occur in March 2026. The Youth Centres selected will take part in online training in the second semester of 2026 and then the National Hackathon in the first semester of 2027. The award ceremony for the winners of the National Hackathon will take place in April 2027

The State of Caring 2026 survey is now open and will remain available for six weeks, closing on 4 March 2026. The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is primarily online.

Statutory Consultation Request - Tullynaglack Wind Farm, Co. Donegal

ABO Energy Ireland Ltd. are seeking to develop a Wind Farm within the townlands of Tullynaglack, Meentacor and Meentacreeghan County Donegal.

Accordingly, they commenced the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process to support a forthcoming planning application that will be submitted to Donegal County Council.  The proposed wind farm site is located circa 10.8 km to the northwest of Donegal town and circa 8.3 km to the southeast of the town of Glenties, County Donegal.

Further details of the proposed project can be found in the attached Scoping Report. Preliminary Site Location, Site Layout and Grid Connection Route Drawings are attached for your information.
